My craniosacral therapy practice has now reopened following strict safety guidelines. These guidelines, along with a consent form will be sent to patients prior to their first session. The guidelines can be downloaded here.
In order to minimise footfall at the college, practitioners have been limited to a more restricted number of available sessions. My current availability is Wednesday 2-5pm and Friday 9.30-12.30pm.
My psychotherapy practice will be reopening in September for teenagers, older children and parent support sessions. With older children and teenagers, sessions can be arranged to comply more easily with social distancing measures. The Mind Garden centre has its own set of safety guidelines, which can be viewed here.
Sessions with younger children require much more close contact and interaction between child and practitioner. As a result, at present it is not considered advisable for these to return without the use of face covering and visors, both of which would potentially hinder the effectiveness of therapy with a child.
It is also not recommended that face to face Theraplay-related sessions restart at this time, as the nature of the work involves a lot of close contact work and physical touch, often around the face. Online Theraplay-related sessions are available
Face to face Qi Gong classes restart in September. However, in order to maintain strict social distancing the numbers of students in a class will be strictly limited.
Online classes, in addition to the weekly face to face class will also be available
