For most of his adult life, Graham has been involved in the study, practise and teaching of a number of different mind-body disciplines.
Graham has been a therapist and trainer for almost 25 years, specialising in working with the impact of disrupted attachment and developmental trauma. He is a teacher and practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy, and was the co-founder and joint principal of the Institute of Craniosacral Studies.
Graham is also a UKCP registered Integrative Child Psychotherapist, working in private practice, local schools and with specialist therapeutic organisations. His psychotherapy practice is strongly informed by his training in DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy), an attachment-based form of family therapy, and Theraplay, a child and family form of therapy for building and enhancing attachment and self-esteem.
He also has an extensive background in somatic trauma resolution and prenatal and birth psychology.
Graham has a particular interest in working adopted children, and is a parent consultant and trainer for Adoption UK. He provides telephone support to parents experiencing Child to Parent Violence (CPV) and runs trainings on therapeutic parenting and other related subjects.
He is also a faculty member at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, where he teaches anatomy to acupuncture students.
Graham has been practising Qi Gong and the internal arts for over 20 years, under the direct tutelage of Master Chris Chappell.
